The fate of Haitian refugees

After the devastating 2010 earthquake, thousands of Haitians were allowed into the US with temporary protected status. However, DHS has announced that this status will come to an end on July 22, 2019. The NAACP reacted by filing a lawsuit to block the move, arguing that it discriminates against immigrants of color. Immigration attorney Randy McGrorty discusses the controversy with RT America’s Ashlee Banks in this installment of “Race in America.”
